The Daily Marker 30: Day 1

I am finally going to participate in Kathy Racoosin’s coloring challenge this month! I may not get something colored or finished every day, but I will give it the old college try! This is my card for Day 1. Image stamps by My Favorite Things and sentiment from Taylored Expressions.

Harvest Moon

This sweet brother/sister image is from Deviant Scrap (Hidden Vintage Studios: Sibling Rivalry). I digitally added some pumpkins to an ATC background from Digital Collage Sheets to make the autumn scene for this “Harvest Moon” swap. The pumpkins and the alphabet are also from Deviant Scrap (Tumblefish Studios). I popped up the words and added a coat of Glossy Accents (Ranger) to make them shine — pun intended!!

School Days

My kids have been back in school for two weeks, yet it feels like it’s been two months! There is always so much to get done before we settle into a routine. I’ve always adored this image of the little girl carrying her slate to school — I just love the look on her face! She is from a collage sheet by Vintage Image Madness that I purchased on Etsy several years ago. The bottom half of the ATC is stamped with some rubber from Red Lead Paperworks. I love this vintage pencil stamp! The other vintage school ephemera images I found using Google.

The theme over at Three Muses this week is “School Days”, so I am linking this ATC up to that wonderful challenge blog. I’m happy that I finally have something to post over there, too!
